Books! There aren't too many things I like more... in fact the only thing I like more is a crew of good people (and possibly a fresh pack of Mango Hi-Chews).
So this month I'm teaming up with these punks—the hearts behind A Good Book Drive—to collect favourite kids books from smart, interesting people all over the city. Chances are I'll be hitting you up, so start narrowing down your list of childhood faves.

August long weekend. In which we ventured from Whidbey Island over to the Olympic Peninsula, hiked along breathtaking (no hyperbole) mountain peaks, saw nary a mountain goat, and learned valuable lessons about checking ferry schedules very carefully.
Olivier & Alice passed through at the end of an epic month-long van journey through the US West—just days before they moved back across the Atlantic to set up camp in Brighton. We shot some photos on my Burnside fire escape before they headed up north.
These two: authentic, gracious, talented and very much in love, which makes them a joy to be around.
Between expertly cuffing sleeves and running props, I played unofficial third photographer at a recent Bridge & Burn lifestyle shoot in southern Washington State.
