Once a month my South Granville apartment swells with a din of scrutiny and wit as many of the most articulate women I know gather to talk books.
Last night marked the Fourth Annual Book Brawl—a showdown of titles where we select our reads for the year ahead. As always, things got heated when the topic of non-fiction came up (we let one slide into the list for 2015), but overall I think we wrangled together a pretty decent—if female-dominated—list.
